Reed in Partnership is part of the Reed family of companies

The Group was founded on May 7th 1960 when Sir Alec Reed, aged 26, opened his first Reed branch in Hounslow with just £75.

Since then Reed Specialist Recruitment has grown to operate 441 business units in 163 locations worldwide, employing more than 3,400 staff and specialising in 30 different sectors, including Banking, Education, HR and Hospitality.

The Group also contains - the UK's leading jobsite, which attracts more than 150 million visits every year - and Reed Learning, who have trained over 250,000 people in the past 10 years as part of postgraduate study programmes, business training and personal development courses.

The Reed Foundation

Sir Alec Reed, founder of the Reed Group, set up the Reed Charity Foundation which supports hundreds of charities in the UK and abroad. The Reed Foundation, which owns 18% of the company, aids charitable causes promoting education and the relief of poverty, sickness and suffering.
