What is the QAC?
The QAC is the Quality Assurance Centre. This is an independent team that verify activity undertaken by our operational teams.
Reason for QAC? Our funders require us to provide independent evidence to support our statistics for job outcomes and sustained job outcomes and to confirm hours of work, job start date and employment type. We felt that it was important to have an independent team.
Start date? The QAC went live in April 2007.
What does the QAC do?
The QAC contacts an employer to confirm a client's employment details, for Quality Assurance and training purposes this call will be recorded. This process should only take a few minutes as one of our Personal Advisers will have already obtained these details from an employer, however, it’s important that we receive independent confirmation of these details. The Quality Assurance Centre will then send an employment stencil for the employer to complete the confirmed details.
