The company was set up in 1998 within the Reed family of businesses, one of the UK's leading recruitment specialists. We are able to draw upon Reed's 40 years' of experience of over 400 employees nationwide.

Working with the Government, local employers and key partner organisations, we provide recruitment, people development and business support services throughout the UK.

Since our launch, we've helped over 80,000 people into employment and worked with more than 10,000 employers, ranging from SMEs to large corporate organisations.

Although unemployment has falled substantially over the years, there remains areas of the UK with high levels of inactivity. To tackle these long-term pockets of worklessness, the Government established Employment Zones and Action Teams for Jobs. Since the establishment of these initiatives in 2000, Reed in Partnership has been one of the leading privated companies partnering with the Government to help and encourage people to return to work.

Reed in Partnership was the first private company in the UK to deliver New Deal programmes and is the biggest non-government provider of Welfare to Work programmes.
