Our programmes

We deliver a range of employment programmes to provide you with the support you need to find the job you want.

The Work Programme

The Work Programme is the Coalition Government’s employment programme to help people into sustainable employment. It will run alongside Jobcentre Plus activity to provide employment support. more

What is the Work Programme?
Some of the key changes are:

  • An emphasis on sustained employment - providers will be paid according to their ability to find people into jobs and then keep them in work;

  • Different payment levels - there are different levels of payment for different eligible groups reflecting the support required by the hardest-to-help candidates;

  • Longer periods of support - we will have two full years to support people, ensuring we can help those who are furthest from the labour market; and

  • Increased level of subcontracting - as a Prime Contractor we will be managing a large supply chain, including the expertise of voluntary providers, to ensure customers have access to specialist services.

The Work Programme will deliver provision for Jobseekers Allowance (JSA) customers and Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) customers who are eligible for Work Programme support. This includes ex-Incapacity Benefit claimants who have been moved to ESA or JSA following a work capability assessment.
