DWP announces Families with Multiple Problems Contracts

17 October 2011

Reed in Partnership has been named as the preferred bidder for the Families with Multiple Problems contracts in the East of England, London East, London West and the North West (Cumbria, Lancashire and Merseyside including Halton).

The Families with Multiple Problems contracts will support many of the 120,000 workless families in England to move closer to, and into, the labour market.

As an experienced provider of welfare-to-work and skills programmes we are excited to work closely with Local Authorities and partners to deliver a new and effective programme for families with a history of intergenerational worklessness.

Rhodri Thomas, Director of Business Development, said: "On behalf of Reed in Partnership I would like to thank all of our partners who dedicated an immense amount of time and effort to support us and our bids to deliver these contracts.

Our success is recognition of our work with partners over the past few months and we are grateful for their support and look forward to working with them to deliver these contracts."
