For jobseekers
We will build up your motivation and confidence
Our experience demonstrates that a supported approach to
learning, with every Learner having access to their
own Employment Adviser, best supports this process.
It's important to identify any skills barriers you have that
prevent you from securing employment in your chosen field. Our
skills diagnostic process can help us address any challenges
you may have. Once this is completed, the Employment Adviser and
you can agree specific action plans to go forward and get the job
you want.
Your Employment Adviser will support you by:
-
Helping with interview skills and CV writing
-
Helping to practice work scenarios through our in-house
training course, The Journey
-
Identifying and sourcing training for the job you want
-
Advising on benefits entitlements whilst you are training /
working
-
Providing financial support while you are looking for work
-
Giving business advice on being self-employed
Once you've got the job you want, we are there to provide advice
and support you in your new role as you continue to
learn and build your new career.
