Group working round table

Building on our experience is vital

Reed in Partnership continues to deliver a comprehensive range of provision to diverse communities across the UK. We recently celebrated placing 80,000 members into work in our 10th anniversary year as a welfare to work provider.

We have expanded our geographical reach with key contract wins in Pathways to Work and New Deal for Disabled People (NDDP). With our Train to Gain wins and our partnership with Business Link in Yorkshire and Humber we have grown our delivery base into skills brokerage and business support.

Looking ahead
We will offer widespread delivery of provision across London, including POEM, Employment Zones and three new Pathways to Work contracts covering North & North East, West and South London. We will continue to operate Partners’ Outreach for Ethnic Minorities (POEM) in three London districts. We will expand our geographical footprint into new areas, such as Cambridgeshire and Suffolk where we are operating Pathways to Work from 28th April 2008.

We will build on our existing provision through the implementation of three NDDP contracts across the UK. Further we look to strengthen our position as a key player in the welfare to work market by tendering for the Government’s key Flexible New Deal contracts across the UK.

We will continue to grow our training and skills provision through new Train to Gain / Learning & Skills Council contracts. We will also work with regional development agencies on programmes like our Business Link Yorkshire contract, which began in April 2008. We will look to expand internationally, winning welfare to work contracts in Europe and beyond.

By engaging with the Government, employers, partners and jobseekers, by increasing our geographical coverage and the diverse range of contracts we offer and by continuing to help people into work and closer to the job market across the UK we intend to consolidate our position as one of the top suppliers of welfare to work programmes for the Department for Work and Pensions.
