Supporting Brain Tumour Support through Community Connect

Our Operations Director, Shirley Allen, recently took part in a Community Connect volunteering day with Brain Tumour Support.

Community Connect gives our people the opportunity to share their skills and expertise with charities and community organisations, helping to create meaningful social impact and strengthen local communities.

Working alongside the charity’s team, Shirley explored ways to strengthen fundraising activity, unlock new corporate sponsorship opportunities and increase business engagement to support their vital work.

Reflecting on the experience, Shirley said: “What stood out most is the remarkable work the charity does every single day. Supporting patients and families facing a brain tumour diagnosis is no small task, and their commitment to ensuring nobody has to go through this alone is both powerful and deeply moving.”
